Adding your customers to Productboard lets you identify feedback they've submitted, surface feature ideas they've requested, and create custom roadmaps filtered for the features they care about most. Here's how to do that in bulk.

Importing company data from a CSV
To import CSV company data to Productboard:
- From the Main menu, click Data > Companies.
- Click Import.
- Click Download CSV template. This template contains two columns: Company name and Company website.

Copy your company data into the template.
Note: The current version of Productboard does not support the import of company data fields along with company name and domain information. The workaround is to build those data fields yourself in Productboard and use our API to populate them with data from another platform.
- Save your template as a UTF-8 encoded CSV.
- Drop or paste your new CSV into the importer window in Productboard, or click Browse files to select it.
- Review your uploaded company data. To view more rows of data, click Show more rows.
- When you’re ready to upload your data, click Import companies at the bottom of the window.
- Once the import begins, you can close the import window. The import will continue running in the background.
Productboard uses the company name and website fields to identify companies that may already be in your Productboard account. The import will attempt to de-duplicate companies with minor variations in spelling, spacing.
Warning: The CSV importer cannot de-duplicate companies which have been imported from Salesforce, and vice versa. It's usually better to decide ahead of time whether you'll use the CSV importer or Salesforce integration importer, as using both can cause duplication headaches.
