View an item's history

If you need to quickly check the history of an item in your workspace and you can't export (or don't want to bother with) the full workspace audit log, you can access an individual item's history from within your Productboard workspace, as long as the item's type is one of the following:

The actions tracked by an item's history will vary between item types, but generally you'll be able to see the item's creator, when ownership was changed and by whom, and when certain fields like timeframe were last updated.

Accessing an item's history

To view an eligible item's history:

1. Click the item to open its sidebar.
2. Click the ••• More actions button in the top right corner of the sidebar.
3. Select History.
