Note: First enable this feature within the Labs () settings of your Productboard workspace.
As a maker with admin access, you can select the Portal language in the Portal Settings (). The default language is English, but you can also select: German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, and Japanese.
Note: Currently, you can only select one language per Portal.
Understanding what parts of the Portal are translated
All system-generated strings, including Portal copy, buttons, and emails, will be automatically translated.
On the other hand, user-generated Portal content, such as portal card title and description, tabs, and sections, will need to be translated by you.
Below, you'll find a breakdown of which items will be translated or not for each Portal area.
Internal PortalÂ
No elements on the internal version of your Portal will be translated:
Customer-facing Portal
The idea submission button and form, as well as the emails, will be translated. All the tabs and cards on the page need to be translated on your end.
Note: Our Privacy Policy message won't be translated.
Portal card
On the Portal card, the publishing date and the user impact score strings will be translated.
On your end, you'll need to translate the Portal card title and description.
