Archiving a feature is useful when you want to remove it from sight without deleting it entirely, in case you want to revisit it at a later stage.

To archive features:
- On any grid or features board, select one or more items.
- From the detail sidebar, click ••• More actions > Archive.
Note: Archiving selected features will also archive all underlying subfeatures.
How to view and unarchive features
New boards and Legacy boards behave slightly differently when retrieving archived items.
New boards (grids, timelines, and columns boards
To view archived items on New boards:
- In the board's header, click Filter > Add filter.
- Set the filter target to the item type you wish to view. For example, if you're looking for archived features, choose Features.
- Set the filter condition to [item type] Archived. (Try typing "archive" into the condition search box).
- Select both "Archived" and "Unarchived" for your values. This will stop you from losing sight of your archived items when you unarchive them.
- Click Apply filters.
- Your archived items will appear. Click one to open its details sidebar, then click Unarchive.
Legacy boards (features boards and roadmaps)
To view archived items on Legacy boards:
- Filter the board by Status and toggle on Archived to reveal archived entities on the board.
- Select one or more features you want to unarchive, then click ••• More actions >
Unarchive from the detail sidebar.
Note: If you can't see the Archive toggle at the bottom of your status filter dropdown, try lowering the zoom level of your web browser.
