Product teams use Productboard as their single source of truth, to understand what customers need, prioritize what to build next, and align stakeholders around the roadmap. It’s critical for product teams to have all product-related information on hand, to keep everyone on the same page and inform important decisions.
This is why Productboard is enabling users to easily embed content from specific apps into Productboard’s Editor, starting with product prototypes, whiteboards, design files, and videos.
Embedding content in Productboard’s Editor means that product managers (PMs) can attach all relevant content to a note or feature description and view the most updated version without leaving Productboard. We know work is done in many different tools, so we’re making it easier than ever before for PMs to maintain a single source of truth for all relevant content in Productboard!

What are embeds?
You can paste embeddable URLs from supported apps in the Productboard Editor field and see a thumbnail of the content in the Editor. You can also expand the thumbnail to view or interact with the embedded content in fullscreen.
You can embed content in any Editor UI found in the Insights, Feature, or Roadmap board, as long as you have the permission to edit content in those boards.
See below for more information on which apps are supported, and how to get embeddable links for each.

Best practices
Where relevant, we recommend users set sharing permissions for all embedded content to Public or Anyone with a link can view. This will allow viewers in Productboard to see embedded content without having to sign into the app.
For must-be-private embedded content, we suggest allowing Anyone at the company to view. This will keep content behind the login but will reduce the volume of access requests that the content owner will receive.
Troubleshooting issues
Your embedded content might not display even when you’ve set the embedded content to Public or Anyone with a link view. This means that your browser has disabled cookies, and you’ll need to enable them for your workspace https://<your_workspace>.productboard.com/.
Limitations
Users cannot choose how to visualize embedded links. All embedded links will show up as previews in the Editor and can be clicked on to expand
