When to use a Release plan roadmap

Release plan roadmaps are good for:

  • Communicating about release objects which aren't time-bound, e.g. a release object called "Mobile update 10.2".
  • Teams which don't release continuously, or which release less frequently.

Release plan roadmaps might not be good for:

  • Communicating about roadmaps that are time-bound, e.g. a release object called "October".Consider using a Release timeline roadmap instead.
